That’s not a bigleaf maple: lovely, all the same, but not acre macrophyllum.
Interesting. I recall that at the time of the post in 2013, I was surprised at the multiple colors in the leaf, though I didn’t question it as Jeff is pretty reliable. It certainly looks like maple. What variety do you think it is?
