Prospecting for Gold in Plumas County

Richard McCutcheon found these nuggets prospecting for fall color in Plumas County.  He reports the color is best in the high country, where it now can be seen at just about every turn. 75 — 100% — High Northern Sierra — Look for yellow aspen particularly in drainages of burned areas of previous forest fires.
