Wonderful color is appearing among the black oak, maple and aspen of the San Bernardino Mountains.

Alena Nicholas traveled the Rim of the World highway, scouting each of the Bernardinos’ popular lakes, finding lots of bright color and predicting that peak color should continue for two weeks (CLICK ON PHOTO TO ENLARGE).

Thanks for the report, but real bummed to learn that the lake is closed. I guess the the fall colors are not important to the state.

So I live in Chino Hills and I would like to go to June Lake but I am afraid I can’t overnight there cuz it’s too much money so I was thinking about going local up into Big Bear Arrowhead today I hope there’s some Fall Foliage left
